This is a Music Magazine cover from B&S. On the front cover is Rita Ora which shows it is a pop kind of genre

Audience

Age- any age as the magazine is generally about music and the music industry.
Gender-  both a male and female magazine as the colours are both masculine and feminine.
Interest- people with a music/music industry interest

Representation

The image is being betrayed as a pop magazine as the colours used a usually realted to pop kind of music. Rita Ora's facial is a little bit serious and 'swaggy' as she is using emotion within her facial expression's and also as she has a hat on&gold jewellery

Genre

The type of music is pop/soul as it has a pop artist on the front cover, also the colours used are very 'poppy' which gives of the impression it is a pop magazine. You can tell this as these are generally the colours used on other type of music magazines.

Layout

The layout of this magazine is kind of simple but effective, it uses the right kind of colours which doesn't clash or contrast with the mastheads or the coverlines. The colours used are also simple but give of an effect as it only sticks to 3 main colours which means there is not to many colours included on the cover which means you wouldn't have to focus on all the different colours.  The shot type is a medium close up which is from the waist upwards, this also can show emotions within Rita Ora's face. The masthead stands out clearly and would be well noticable as it is in Bold White letter with a red background which makes it more effective.

Media

The language used on this magazine is appropriate as it is related to music and the industry.
