Research&Planning-Double page analysis

Age- The age for this magazine would probably be 13-16 year old's as Cher Lloyd is on the page and that is the age range her music is aimed at. I would aim this magazine at this age range as it is a Pop Magazine which is usually realated to younger people/teenagers as they are more interested in Pop than the elders. Also as the colours used a very bright and colourful which gives of the impression it is for this age gap. The items within the magazine is appropriate for that age range also.

Gender- The gender for this magazine would probably be both genders but mainly female as Cher Lloyd is mainly targeting girls. Also as the colours of the writing is in pink colours which are mainly based with females which makes it mainly a female target based magazine.

Layout- The shot type of this magazine is a long shot as you can see all of Cher Lloyd's body and the detail within her body expressions. The shot type is quite effective as you can see her facial expressions which shows her emotions. The layout it very simple as there is only 3 colours used which means they have stuck to the 'three colour rule' which shows they are professional with their magazines. Also the colours usesd a very basic colours but also colours which are realated to a pop genre, pink for example.The spread is very simple, and so it is appropriate to those who may read it, meaning the article will be read and people will pay attention to it. The fonts used are very similar which means the magazine does not look to busy. The image is fairly large which means it the focus of attention which people will draw their eyes straight too, this shot is a long shot,

Representation- This magazine is represented very well as it shows the audience they are trying to target with the image, the colours and the layout of the magazine. It shows how it is a very basic double page spread but it gives of an effect as it is not to 'busy' as the colours used a very simple and they stick to the same 3 without the two pages.

Interest- The main interest for this magazine would be people who have an interest for Cher Lloyd and the other people who are included in this magazine. Also people who have an interest within the music industry.
