Evaluation: Question 7 - Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

This is my music magazine and my college magazine which I created both on Photoshop. The general layout on both of these are not similar. The masthead on my music magazine is much larger than the one on my college magazine, it is much more noticeable. My music magazine has much more coverlines than my college magazine as it only has a few. My music magazine seems much more organsied and professional than my college magazine one as I have learnt and developed more skills on Photoshop. On both of these magazine's I have stuck to the 3 colour rule but on my music magazine they are much more brighter which is appropriate for my genre whereas on my college magazine it isn't as they seem dull colours. The same model is used for both of these magazine's as I felt she represented it well, but on my music magazine one she is wearing more appropriate clothing as she has been cut out better by using Photoshop. This is due to the improvement of my skills. The fonts and font sizes have been improved on my music magazine as they are more of a suitable size and font whereas on my college magazine they are all one size apart from my masthead which is larger. This had made my music magazine much more engaging due to the font sizes and colours.
